Presentation / News

ROC Aventus brings out the best in learners and course participants with, Its inspiring learning environment based in practical situations. This is the product we want to continue offering. At ROC Aventus, learners can develop the competences that businesses, government agencies and institutions in our region expect from their future employees. A competence-based approach is gradually introduced. At ROC Aventus, learners take responsibility for their education. Whenever possible, ROC Aventus tailors its programmes to the learner, both in terms of subject matter and teaching methods. Learning from practical business situations both in the classroom and the businesses themselves is one of the core principles of our programmes. Learners complete assignments for businesses and institutions in the region, learn from their experiences as trainees, work in internal training companies affiliated with ROC Aventus or develop competences through simulations. Providing individual counselling during the course of a learner's education is an integral part of our didactic vision. Together with their study adviser, our learners compile a personal development plan (PDP), stating their study goals, timeframe and exam schedule. Learners keep track of their marks in a digital portfolio and discuss them periodically with their study adviser: They also receive guidance from expert and committed coaches and specialist teachers.
