For learners

For learners

European mobility is a valuable opportunity for young people in vocational training for several reasons:

  • Improved employability: Gaining international experience makes learners more attractive to employers in an increasingly globalized job market.
  • Development of key skills: Enhances language skills, intercultural awareness, and adaptability to different work environments.
  • Recognition of qualifications: Thanks to ECVET, skills acquired abroad can be validated and recognized in the home country.
  • Boosted confidence and independence: Living and working in a different country helps young professionals develop autonomy and problem-solving skills.

More and more mobilities opportunities

Young people in vocational education and training (VET) centers involved in the NETINVET network benefit each year from a variety of mobility project opportunities. These include placements in companies across the four economic sectors covered by the network, the recent development of hybrid mobility, skills competitions, and more. A football match between a selection of automotive apprentices from France and Italy is even planned for October 2026 at the former training center of Olympique Lyonnais (Lyon, France)!

Each activity is an opportunity to develop soft skills, network, grow, and better understand other cultures.
