Strengthening the network for professional mobility

The Netinvet network's annual forum took place in Madrid on 28th and 29th of March. The video is now available!

This year's edition aimed to "Strengthen the network for professional mobility" by highlighting good practices implemented within Netinvet and working on the quality of mobility. In this context, participants were encouraged to express their expectations from the network and to think about how to promote it to attract new members.

In addition to these reflections on the evolution of the network, the conference provided an insight into the VET system in Spain and heard the point of view of a company in Madrid on the European mobility of young people. Joao Santos, representative of the European Commission, presented the new Erasmus + programme which will cover the period 2021-2027 and will become "ERASMUS for all". The current programme has allowed about 650,000 young people in vocational trainings to go abroad between 2014 and 2020. The Commission aims to triple this number to make benefit 2 million young VET learners from Erasmus grants between 2021 and 2027. In this regard, Joao Santos stressed the importance and key role of networks such as Netinvet to achieve these important goals.

The event brought together over 150 participants from 12 European countries. At this occasion, Netinvet welcomed 12 new members, including ten schools and two support organisations from the Netherlands, and now has 102 members in total.
